WHAT IS PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)?

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is an innovative therapeutic treatment that uses the active growth factors found in your own platelet-rich blood cells to promote natural hair growth. Treatment takes less than 45 minutes (30 min numbing, 15 min for injections) and you can get back to your life the same day without down-time!

What is the PRP Hair Restoration procedure and how does it work?

The process involves first applying a layer of numbing cream to the patient's scalp. While the patient is numbing, a simple blood draw (2 regular sized tubes) is performed, from which we prepare and enrich the Platlet Rich Plasma using our special centrifugation progress. Once your Platelet Rich Plasma is extracted, we perform a series of superficial injections into the scalp using a very small needle. The injection process involves a low level of discomfort and goes by quickly (typically finished within 15 minutes). The enriched plasma promotes the stimulation of the scalp and hair follicles to regrow in addition to thickening existing hair. A series of 3 treatments are typically recommended, and spaced 4-6 weeks apart. We recommend a touch-up treatment every 6-12 months to maintain ongoing results.
